To My Friends and Supporters:
I am profoundly grateful for your efforts on behalf of my campaign for the 5th District, United States House of Representatives.
Although we did not achieve the result we wanted, I was extremely privileged to be one of four Republican candidates. We achieved one our goals; we provided electoral “Choice” to the people of the 5th District. We energized and galvanized our friends and neighbors, through the rain, snow, frigid cold and hot sun to stand up and fight to protect and preserve our freedom, our constitution, integrity and transparency and common sense in governmental policies. My family and I are sincerely humbled by your trust.
We are not done and our fight is far from over!
While voters across our great nation sent a Republican majority to Congress last month, Massachusetts remained stuck in it’s past. We must not give up or give in. There is far too much at stake, - our crushing national debt, border security, our fast disappearing manufacturing jobs, our current unemployment rate, and our agenda-driven union-dominated educational system, for us to silently acquiesce.
While the next election is two years away, we cannot sit back. We must remain active. We must stay engaged. We must keep our spirit up and hope alive.
Often people ask me “What’s next Sam?” My simple answer is “I will run again”.
Please stay in touch. And, visit my web site for campaign news, policy updates and events. www.sammeasforcongress.com.
Thank you. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza, and best wishes for the New Year!
With my deepest gratitude,
Sam Meas

My name is Sam Meas. In my home country of Cambodia, my family witnessed the horrible atrocities committed by the communist government. These were powerful events that forever changed the lives of many. They certainly shaped my own understanding of freedom and liberty. I am a resident of Haverhill, Massachusetts. I am a husband, father and businessman who is thankful each day for my part of the American dream. For years I have been observing national politics and like you, I am troubled by some concerning trends. |

My friends, we need to put Americans back to work. My plan is to meet with companies from around the country, and bring their businesses back to the 5th district. This will help create jobs, hope and opportunity for what I believe are the finest workers in this country. It’s going to take more than just lowering taxes! Getting people back to work is the first REAL step in putting our economy back on the right track!

“I sat in a refugee camp for three years struggling to survive as an orphan. With only the clothes on my back and barely enough food to eat, I patiently waited for my name to be called for the opportunity to become a United States citizen. No one understands being an immigrant more than I do. Everyone should have the same chance as I…by doing it the RIGHT way.
I am not a career politician or country club candidate. I believe that America is the greatest country on earth. I am Sam Meas and I am running for Congress. I ask for your vote on September 14th. I approve of this message and I approve of the American Dream.
